CURAS LASER
Curas Advanced Nano Laser
The Nd:YAG laser is a popular laser toning treatment and has served as the standard for pigmentation and tattoo removal in Singapore for over a decade. Numerous clinical studies have demonstrated its effectiveness in treating various pigmented lesions on the skin. However, traditional Q-switch Nd:YAG or Nd YAG laser treatment has limitations, particularly in providing significant improvement for melasma. Moreover, melasma tends to recur after the treatment is discontinued.
The advanced Q-switch Nd Yag laser represents a significant improvement over the previous generation of Q-switch lasers. It features an enhanced laser system that optimizes performance and includes various laser modes designed to treat post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation (PIH) and melasma more effectively. Let’s explore why.
What are the features of Curas Advanced Q-switched laser?

The advanced Q-switched Nd:YAG laser system, CuRAS, offers optimal performance for the treatment of tattoos, melasma, non-ablative resurfacing, and pigmented lesions. With dual wavelengths (1064/532nm) and three different handpieces, doctors can address a variety of skin needs for their patients.
Stable and Uniform
Its auto-calibration function guarantees precise and stable energy with a uniform beam profile, regardless of whether the laser is used consistently throughout the day. (Note: Some laser systems exhibit inconsistent laser output after prolonged use.) A real-time monitoring system enables our doctors to check the consistent delivery of the laser.
Fast and Effective
The PTP mode delivers the high peak energy into twin pulse with short intervals for
a faster and safer treatment by minimalizing the risk of and pain and side effect during
treatment. The twin pulse with a high peak energy feature allows pigmentation to be
treated with significantly less pain.
Top Hat Laser Beam Profile
The even top-hat beam profile of CuRAS means that there is a uniform beam profile
regardless of various energy settings. CuRAS and its even hat shape beam can deliver
uniform and accurate – high-quality beam – on the target area without affecting any
surrounding tissue for safety and effectiveness.
Safe and Easy
The spot size of the zoom handpiece device is adjustable from 2 – 10mm with 1 mm adjustments to enable you to select the appropriate spot size for efficient treatments easily. An automatic two-way communication function between the control system and the spot size setting makes spot size adjustment much easier and safer for the doctor.
Preset Protocol & Storage Mode
Preset protocols and storage modes can be set, such as the expert melasma treatment mode, involving melasma mode, Q switch mode and long pulse (genesis) mode for effective treatment of melasma. This is curas patent melasma treatment.
What is Curas Advanced Nano Lasers used for, and How it works?

The advanced Q-switched Nd:YAG laser system, CuRAS, offers optimal performance for the treatment of tattoos, melasma, non-ablative resurfacing, and pigmented lesions. With dual wavelengths (1064/532nm) and three different handpieces, doctors can address a variety of skin needs for their patients.
1064 wavelengths allow the removal of black and dark blue tattoo ink effectively, especially with a stable and more efficient laser top-hat beam profile. 532 wavelengths allow red tattoo removal with minimal blistering compared to conventional nd: YAG lasers. Therefore, these dual wavelengths allow good clearance of most tattoo ink.
